Compensation: $20.00 / hr

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via email and phone.
  • Develop solutions for expedited international shipments via air for our customers.
  • Utilize previous experience and innovative thinking to ensure timely delivery and optimal transit times.
  • Input all shipment details and related information into the Transportation Management System (TMS) promptly.
  • Organize shipment routing, prepare necessary documentation, and coordinate bookings with air and ground carriers.
  • Address and resolve issues that arise during the shipment process.
  • Communicate any delays or problems to customers in a timely manner.
  • Assess vendor and carrier rates to ensure competitiveness and market alignment.
  • Coordinate pick-up and delivery logistics with shippers, consignees, and local clients.
  • Work with airlines, carriers, agents, and brokers to secure scheduling, pricing, and service commitments.
  • Guide agents and airlines to ensure smooth transportation of shipments while adhering to regulations.
  • Track and update all shipment milestones and statuses in the TMS, ensuring comprehensive notes are recorded.
  • Maintain TSA compliance throughout the entire shipment process.
  • Document failure types and events as necessary.
  • Manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously.
  • Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in Korean and English.
  • High School diploma required.
  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience in shipping or logistics.
  • Ability to make swift and sound decisions that benefit both the company and the customer.
