The Role

We are seeking an experienced Director of Merchandise Strategy to lead our merchandising efforts and develop a product strategy that meets or exceeds sales volume and customer expectations for all selling channels. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for steering the merchandising journey from crafting seasonal line plans to ensuring final product execution aligns with our desired consumer on-floor experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product merchandising strategy utilizing data-driven approaches to analyze customer behavior and develop consumer-centric product strategies and experiences across all channels.
  • Monitor market and internal trends to ensure our merchandising strategy remains competitive and consumer-centric.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in our product category portfolio.
  • Maintain the integrity of key items/franchise through lifecycle management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, marketing, production, and sales to ensure alignment and consistency from product strategy to messaging and positioning.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve processes and workflows to increase efficiency and productivity within the department.
  • Provide merchant leadership and mentorship to foster a supportive, productive, and highly collaborative team environment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of merchandising experience.
  • Possess a combination of strategic vision and operational know-how with a customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a good understanding of omnichannel retail and wholesale business.
  • Enterprise leadership with proven talent management and development.
  • Refined taste level and ability to forecast consumer trends.

What We Offer:

  • $120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on experience.
