Job Description:

Universal Products & Experiences (UP&E) is seeking an experienced Merchandise Manager - Category Development to support the Director in developing business and assortment strategies for assigned accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the retail and consumer trends in the industry and be able to apply financial insights, consumer insights, and product trend information to validate strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze retail and consumer trends in the industry to help shape the assortment strategies, drive innovation, and identify new opportunities.
  • Develop quarterly assortment plan in partnership with marketing, sales, and design teams.
  • Present quarterly departmental strategies and hindsight business reviews to the Senior Management and cross-functional teams.
  • Manage key milestones, meeting requirements to support operational timelines and hold cross-functional teams accountable to these milestones.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of account and product management experience in mid to large-size apparel company (or related experience).
  • Minimum 2+ years of leadership experience.
  • Experience working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
