Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Memory and Storage Solutions Specialist to fill a key role in our organization. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of our operations, communicating and collaborating with colleagues, managing projects, and analyzing technical data.
Responsibilities
Safety & Quality:
- Complete all required safety training and conduct work in accordance with Micron and Technology Development (TD) safety policies
- Use and review job hazard analysis (JHA/JSA) for work being performed
- Follow all safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations
- Actively participate in the EHS program by reporting all EHS-related concerns or problems immediately
- Perform and facilitate audits and submit good catches
- Drive quality improvement initiatives in your area to reduce Fab impacts, improve efficiency, and identify cost savings
- Operate and maintain equipment and tools within manufacturer's and company guidelines to ensure safety and quality expectations are met
- Ensure area-specific procedures and documents exist and submit updates to content when needed
Communication & Collaboration:
- Make recommendations related to preventative maintenance and other non-routine issues
- Collaborate with area leaders to create personal performance and development goals
- Partner with team members to supervise data to continuously improve critical metrics
- Partner with team members to resolve equipment/process issues and improve system stability
- Ensure pass down is accurate and reflects the current work status
- Communicate changes made to equipment and follow business rules for change control
- Proactively communicate issues that could cause Fab impact, defects, tool restrictions, or lost moves
Project Management/Planning:
- Support or lead area projects to ensure results are completed within required scope and schedule
- Partner with leader to prioritize project action items
- Follow proper business processes for maintaining, installing, modifying, or removing facilities equipment
- Use a systematic project management methodology to develop, prioritize, and lead projects
Technical/Data Analysis:
- Independently perform technical tasks
- Apply judgment in quickly resolving routine problems
- Troubleshoot problems where reference materials are available
- Identify and resolve chronic equipment alarm issues
- Identify and reduce equipment defects to improve quality
- Drive a culture of TPM including TPM metrics, CIP items, MTAGs, and procedures
- Assist with installation, modification, and removal of facilities equipment
- Maintain applicable field knowledge, such as gas fundamentals
- Identify and respond according to gas system alarm conditions
- Complete all assigned PMs and work orders in a timely and thorough manner
Qualifications
- Intermediate PC skills, including familiarity with MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Consistent record following procedures and working with minimal direction
- Flexible with job responsibilities and shift assignments
- Proven time management, organization, and prioritization skills
- Proven track record to multi-task in a high-paced environment
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to continuously learn and self-improve
- Ability to be respiratory certified
Education and Experience
- Preferred: two-year industry-related associate degree and/or working towards a STEM-related degree
