We are looking for a dedicated Admissions Coordinator to enhance our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the daily functions related to pre-admission processes, ensuring effective communication and coordination with various departments by gathering and disseminating necessary information.
Direct the admissions process, focusing on converting patient referrals into successful admissions by verifying clinical and financial data and maintaining clear communication with all parties involved.
Collaborate closely with the business development team and hospital management to achieve the facility's revenue, census, conversion, and admissions objectives through outstanding communication and customer service.
Essential Skills:
Associate's Degree is mandatory.
A minimum of three (3) years of experience in the healthcare sector is required.
Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance protocols is essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree is advantageous.
Experience in Case Management or Discharge Planning is preferred.
Supervisory experience is a plus.
Understanding of general admission protocols and basic office practices is beneficial.
Ability to present a professional demeanor.
Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance is important.
Strong organizational, prioritization, and analytical abilities are necessary.
Capability to make independent decisions when required.
Proficiency in computer applications relevant to job functions.
