Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cash Room Representative at JACK Cleveland Casino LLC. As a key member of our counting team, you will be responsible for accurately handling and processing large amounts of cash and chips.

About the Role:

  • You will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
  • Your primary responsibilities will include counting, sorting, and organizing money, coupons, and chips from drop boxes.
  • You will also be required to lift and display empty drop boxes, retrieve them from storage, and store all boxes appropriately.
  • In addition, you will insert and remove currency from counting machines, run the machines, strap and hand-stamp money bundles, and total all cash, chips, and coupons by shift and date.
  • You will need to enter necessary information into the computer, load boxes into carts, and push/pull carts to designated areas for transportation to the casino floor.
  • As a representative of JACK Cleveland Casino LLC, you will provide excellent guest service skills to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • You will also account for all keys used to perform slot machine drops, weigh/count individual buckets, record weighed buckets into the scale, verify wrap totals, research variances, and pull bill validator boxes.
  • Furthermore, you will complete all paperwork accurately and deliver it to the appropriate department in a timely manner.
  • You will be responsible for loading coin/currency and counting dropped funds for all casino floor ticket redemption kiosks, counting Slot Operations emergency drops, and maintaining the Count Room in a clean and orderly fashion.
  • Finally, you will follow safety and security guidelines and adhere to department procedures.

Requirements:

  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least six months of previous money handling experience.
  • Prior experience in performing detailed work is preferred, as is being literate and fluent in basic English.
  • You should have excellent math skills, basic computer skills, and trouble-shooting abilities.
  • You must be able to perform tasks with high efficiency and accuracy and possess above-average organizational abilities.
  • Finally, you must be 21 years of age and able to obtain a Gaming Occupational License within the State of Ohio.
