About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to join our team at University Hospitals. As a Sterile Field Coordinator, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and efficient operating room environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $48,000 - $58,000 per year, based on location and experience. You will also be eligible for a $6 hourly rate for cardiac, neuro, and transplant specialties and enjoy a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain asepsis and ensure proper instrumentation is available
  • Assist with surgical procedures and provide support as needed
  • Operate service-specific equipment and provide training as needed
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Requirements

  • Accredited Surgical Technician program
  • Thorough knowledge of asepsis, instrumentation, suture, and surgical procedures
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification preferred
