Position Overview

To effectively manage responsibilities within designated territories, candidates should ideally reside in proximity to their assigned areas. The organization is known for its diverse portfolio of commercial Property & Casualty offerings and promotes teamwork among Production/Field Underwriters, Producers, and Reinsurers to enhance business generation and oversight.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial Excess and Surplus underwriting, complemented by a marketing background
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25% - 40%, which may include overnight trips
  • Must maintain a clean driving record
  • While candidates from carriers are preferred, those from Managing General Agents or Wholesalers will also be considered
  • Possession of insurance designations and a college degree is advantageous
