About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Collateral Management Specialist to join our team in Irvine, California. As a key member of our Collateral Management Team, you will be responsible for processing daily margin calls, reconciling collateral balances, and providing operational support to our internal and external clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process daily margin calls for all agreed clients, including banks and fund clients, and both cash and security margin calls.
  • Reconcile collateral balances, investigate and solve discrepancies, and serve as the main point of contact for escalations.
  • Provide operational support to our internal and external clients, including generating reports and responding to inquiries.
  • Work independently and with the team to establish firm and well-tested controls and procedures.
  • Implement and support client-specific service requirements, understand the client's operational process, and enhance the service accordingly.

Requirements
  • Experience in finance and custody, with a risk excellence mindset.
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Excel, Outlook, and Power Point, with experience in MS Access and VBA an advantage.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A background in collateral management or financial operations, with an in-depth understanding of State Street's middle office systems, such as GTM, RKS, CMW, and Colline, an ideal requirement.
