Your Role
We are in search of empathetic Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to become part of our community. An LPN utilizes their clinical skills to guarantee that all residents receive top-notch, efficient care. Our LPNs are respectful, sensitive, and deeply committed to assisting those in need.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver Care
- Assisting residents with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Supporting residents with their medication management, which includes administering medications, opening containers, reading labels, and ensuring residents take their prescribed dosages correctly.
- Repositioning residents in bed and accompanying them throughout the community.
- Providing toileting assistance and incontinent care.
- Monitoring vital signs, such as blood pressure and heart rate.
- Observing and reporting on residents' health, promptly escalating any concerns.
- Documenting daily reports for the Nurse or designated charge person at the end of each shift.
- Offering emotional support and serving as a source of comfort for residents and their families.
- Identifying abnormal changes in residents' health and reporting them to a supervisor.
Experience & Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a clinical or hospital environment.
- Associates degree or higher, with a focus on advancing into medical services or a related field, is preferred.
- CPR/First Aid Certification is desired (unless mandated by the State).
- Valid, unrestricted LPN certification or State/Local equivalent is required.
- Experience working independently, as part of a team, and managing projects from start to finish.
- Strong emotional intelligence and active listening abilities.
- A commitment to the healthcare field, particularly in supporting residents.
