Key Responsibilities

As a key member of Globe Machine Manufacturing's Management Team, you will oversee the performance of the Building Products business unit. Your strategic and profitable partnerships with organizations specializing in building and engineered wood products are crucial to driving growth.

This role requires cultivating relationships, steering project definition, design, and sales initiatives, and collaborating with engineering and manufacturing operations to achieve objectives. Effective leadership qualities, strong communication skills, and a unique fusion of business acumen and technical expertise are essential.

The ideal candidate will develop an annual sales plan for the building products segment, track progress, and execute strategies aligned with corporate objectives. They will maintain intimate knowledge of the trade, understand competitive dynamics, and proactively identify customers' needs to propose Globe's systems, products, and services.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and execute annual sales plans, aligning with corporate objectives.
  • Maintain extensive industry knowledge, monitoring competitors and market trends.
  • Proactively identify customer needs, proposing solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sales and revenue growth.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A minimum of five years' experience in buying or selling capital equipment specific to building products or related industries.
  • Strong technical proficiency, including knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
  • Proven success executing sales plans, driving results, and delivering presentations.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across departments.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business, with a proven track record of independently managing clients and their account retention and growth.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $160,000 per year, based on experience, along with benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
