Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Auditor/Assessor to join our team at SGS. As an Auditor/Assessor, you will be responsible for auditing manufacturing/fabrication of industrial equipment at vendor/manufacturing sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare audit agendas and discuss with audit sites to schedule audits
  • Email site contacts to confirm expectations and requirements
  • Conduct audits at manufacturing sites, following agreed-upon checklists, and verify processes and procedures
  • Issue reports for each audit completed, with findings and recommendations
  • Sign independent contractor agreements/sub-contractor agreements with SGS North America Inc.
Requirements:
  • Qualified and certified for IRQA or similar/competent authorities
  • Familiar with industrial commercial and technical practices
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in auditing supplier/manufacturer's facilities
  • Additional certifications such as CWI or NDT are a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including grammar and composition
  • Proven time management skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in using computer software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
