Job Overview

FTI Buyer, LLC is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead our growing development team. As a key member of our technical leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day workflow of the development team, partnering with senior product managers and business partners to manage the development pipeline, and overseeing software development, code reviews, and platform architecture.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day workflow of the development team.
  • Partner with senior product managers and business partners to manage the development pipeline.
  • Oversee software development, code reviews, and platform architecture.
  • Enhance and maintain the testing pipeline and deployment strategies.
  • Teach, mentor, and manage software developers.
  • Continue learning and growing as a developer, leader, and professional.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in software development, particularly in full-stack roles.
  • 2+ years of experience managing engineering teams of 5+ employees.
  • Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Ability to learn new languages and technologies, staying at the forefront of development languages and frameworks.
  • Comfortable supporting business-critical applications on a public cloud provider.
  • Resourcefulness and strong troubleshooting aptitude.
  • Attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with core AWS products, including ECS, RDS, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, etc.
  • Familiarity with Vercel.
