Job Summary

VSolvit is seeking a highly skilled SharePoint Engineer to support our DISA Client in Crystal City, Virginia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining SharePoint and CRM systems to meet the needs of our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide tier 3 technical support for on-premise SharePoint & CRM environments.
  • Provide on-call support for high-level incident and outages outside standard work hours as needed.
  • Troubleshoot, manage, and configure IIS and SharePoint infrastructure.
  • Facilitate and support troubleshooting of systems, including OS, SQL, Trellix (HBSS), networking, firewall, and any other components to support a fully functioning SharePoint/CRM farm.
  • Harden and ensure security compliance of all servers by patching on a recurring basis and applying STIGs as needed.
  • Install, configure, and maintain on-premise SharePoint and CRM environments.
  • Support upgrades and migrations for SharePoint & CRM.
  • Provide input for weekly and monthly reports.
  • Submit and track change requests, incidents, and work orders in ServiceNow (SNOW) as needed and work with service partners to resolve.
  • Participate in change board meetings as necessary.
  • Provide ad-hoc SharePoint/CRM infrastructure-related reports as needed.
  • Maintain and peer-review internal engineering assets, such as master server lists, script repositories, and more.
  • Maintain supporting infrastructure documentation.
  • Maintain and track application-level certificates for all SharePoint/CRM farms on NIPR/SIPR.
  • Work with custom development teams to deploy solutions to on-prem SharePoint/CRM farms.
Requirements
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to work independently and solve problems.
  • Years of infrastructure/system engineering experience.
  • Experience with SharePoint 2013, 2016, & 2019.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint Online and CRM systems.
  • General CRM/Platform/Server Experience.
  • General experience with CRM/SharePoint farm and site configuration.
  • General/working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, group policy, LAN/WAN, IP addresses, and SQL server administration to complete a variety of projects.
  • Troubleshooting experience, working through various technical issues related to SharePoint or dependencies.
  • Security+ or equivalent certification.
  • Microsoft or FedVTE certification focused on Server OS, SharePoint, or CRM.
  • The desire to gain or use extra-curricular certifications as part of ongoing professional growth.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a government background investigation and must meet eligibility and suitability requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or Engineering.
  • Experience with migration tools such as AvePoint DocAve, Fly.
  • Experience with O365 services and migrations.
  • Acquired Microsoft certifications.
  • Ability to support a Dynamics Office 365 environment (on-premise).
  • Experience with monitoring tools (e.g. Splunk).
  • Experience with disaster recovery efforts for IT.
  • Cyber Security Technical Engineering Support to SharePoint.
  • SQL Server experience highly preferred.
  • Interim Secret Clearance is required.
