About the Role

Copeland Hudson is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automotive Sales Consultant to join our team. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for building relationships with customers, guiding them through the sales process, and ensuring a seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers to create a loyal customer base
  • Guide customers through the sales process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience
  • Assist customers in finding the perfect vehicle, taking into account their needs and preferences
  • Enhance the sales process by demonstrating the features and benefits of new and pre-owned vehicles
  • Close deals while overcoming objections and thriving in sales situations
  • Follow up with unsold and sold customers to maximize every opportunity for sale or referral business
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring an experience second to none
  • Become a product specialist, staying up-to-date on product offerings, optional packages, and the latest technology
  • Report directly to the Sales Management Team regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses
Requirements
  • Outgoing, dependable, self-motivated, and displays a positive attitude
  • Enthusiastic with high energy throughout the sales workday
  • Ready, willing, and committed to learning the job
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both one-on-one and over the phone
  • Persuasive and able to overcome customer objections during the sales process
  • Proficient in basic business math, including percentages
  • Prior automotive sales experience is preferred but not required
  • Willing to submit to a drug screen
  • Active driver's license with an acceptable driving record
