Key Responsibilities- Protecting Assets and Property: Safeguard all company assets, including products, equipment, and facilities, from theft, damage, or misuse.
- Regulating Access: Control and monitor access to our premises, ensuring only authorized personnel and visitors enter the store.
- Observing and Reporting: Vigilantly observe and report any suspicious activity, accidents, or incidents to management and law enforcement as necessary.
- Investigating Incidents: Conduct thorough investigations into accidents, incidents, and suspicious activity, taking appropriate action to prevent future occurrences.
- Providing Excellent Customer Service: Offer exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Collaborating with Colleagues: Work closely with store staff, management, and other departments to ensure seamless communication and effective problem-solving.
- Criminal Justice Degree or Relevant Experience: Possess a degree in criminal justice or a related field, or have equivalent experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field.
- Availability and Reliability: Be available to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, days, nights, and weekends, and demonstrate reliable and responsible attendance.
- Background Checks: Pass all required background checks, including state-specific cannabis employment requirements.
- Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license or state ID.
- Compliance with Regulations: Remain compliant with all legal and company regulations for working in the cannabis industry.
- Patient and Customer-Facing Environment: Work in a patient and customer-facing environment, interacting with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Varying Weather Conditions: Work outdoors in varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions.
- Exposure to Cannabis and Allergens: Be exposed to cannabis and allergens that may be present in the work environment.
