Job Summary

The Senior Technician position at Bridgestone Americas requires a highly skilled and experienced professional to diagnose and repair complex automotive systems, while also providing leadership and mentoring to a team of technicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems to specifications.
  • Effectively communicate technical information to non-technical individuals, including customers and colleagues.
  • Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
  • Assist fellow technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities and provide guidance and support as needed.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of automotive repair experience, completion of a Vocational-Technical School program in a related field, or demonstrated skills via third-party certificates/assessment.
  • A.S.E. certification in at least 3 (three) of A1-A8 is required, with new hires having up to 2 years of employment to comply.
  • Current Federal, State, and Local certification/license where applicable.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people, reading, writing, and math skills.
