Patient Services Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Services Coordinator to join our team at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center.

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for providing administrative support to the Cardiac Unit, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and processing physician orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate unit activities, manage patient records, and process physician orders.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
  • Transport patients and medical equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to NLH policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • No previous experience necessary, but willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
  • Ability to lift 30-50 pounds and work varied shift schedules.
