Job Title: Senior Principal Technical Product Manager

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Principal Technical Product Manager to join our Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) team. As a key member of our team, you will have a unique opportunity to work closely with OCI's Chief Technical Architect and senior technical leaders.

Job Summary:

The Senior Principal Technical Product Manager will be responsible for collaborating across multiple functional teams to gain a deep understanding of OCI's product offerings, technical capabilities, and unique value proposition. This role will involve producing high-quality technical product blogs and creating video scripts for our OCI First Principles program targeting external audiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with OCI's business objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize product features and requirements
  • Work closely with engineers, architects, and senior executives to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with business goals
  • Produce high-quality technical product blogs and video scripts that showcase OCI's innovative technologies
  • Engage with various stakeholders, including marketing, product, and legal teams, to ensure seamless content publication and video recording
  • Partner with program and product management teams to understand customer needs and translate them into powerful solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technological advancements, and market shifts to ensure our content remains relevant and forward-thinking
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer sciences, software engineering, technology management, business management, or similar
  • 10+ years of experience as a hands-on product and technical program manager, preferably in a related industry
  • Advanced knowledge of cloud fundamentals and cloud services
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, with strong interpersonal skills and proven experience working with engineers, architects, and senior executives
  • Ability to synthesize collateral, formulate technical topics, and craft engaging technical blog content and video scripts
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 12+ years of product design, program management, or related experience with a development background
  • Master's degree in computer science or relevant technical field or equivalent work experience
  • Thorough understanding of public cloud infrastructure services, such as Compute, Storage, Identity, and Networking
  • Demonstrated knowledge of OCI, AWS, Azure, or Google IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS services
