Territory Sales Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to join our team at Ritchie Bros. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue in Western Michigan.
Key Responsibilities- Sales and Account Management: Sell various multi-channel solutions to new and existing customers, maintaining a strong understanding of customer needs and delivering value through customized solutions.
- Territory Development: Develop and maintain a comprehensive territory playbook, utilizing the CRM tool to manage pipeline and sales performance.
- Prospecting and Business Development: Proactively prospect and develop new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with customers.
- Collaboration and Negotiation: Partner with internal stakeholders to negotiate and close deals, ensuring successful sales outcomes.
- Auction Sales Support: Attend 4 to 6 auction sales within the region, meeting with customers and colleagues to drive sales growth.
- Travel and Territory Coverage: Travel overnight approximately 5 to 7 days per month to cover the territory and support sales efforts.
- Experience: 2 to 10 years in a structured outside/field sales role, with a consistent track record of meeting/exceeding quotas.
- Qualifications: Valid driver's license, clean driver's record, and experience in quota-driven sales (industry experience/knowledge highly desirable).
- Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to build and maintain authentic customer relationships, and a competitive yet integrity-driven approach.
- Work Environment: Primarily work from a home office and on the road, with opportunities for career advancement and professional development.
