Edge Electric, Inc. is actively looking for a dedicated Project Coordinator to join our team.

The Project Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Project Manager and the project teams through collaboration and assistance in various functions, including assessment, organization, execution, and reporting of project management tasks related to commercial electrical projects.


This position involves working within established processes and systems with the primary goal of managing, coordinating, and completing project activities while ensuring adherence to purchase orders, contracts, and design standards that encompass project safety, quality, value, timeliness, and profitability.

This role is designed to provide onboarding and training programs aimed at enhancing project management knowledge, experience, and opportunities for career advancement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate directly with electrical project managers to help achieve project objectives.
  • Delegate tasks to team members to implement project goals as necessary.
  • Oversee various aspects of electrical and general construction projects, providing direct support to ensure timely execution.
  • Review project objectives and confirm their feasibility.
  • Coordinate with General Foreman and Project Managers to maintain project schedules and efficiency.
  • Assist in sourcing electrical materials and other necessary items for project completion.
  • Facilitate coordination with general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Analyze project implementation and collect data on project execution.
  • Work closely with Project Managers and team members post-project execution.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with the Procore Project Management platform.
  • Background in the electrical field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in commercial, residential construction, or electrical management.
Required Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and similar software.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and adept problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with contract drawings, subcontracts, contract addendums, specifications, change orders, RFIs, and submittals.
  • Familiarity with standard deliverables and work processes on projects.
  • Strong interpersonal and writing skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Proven ability to effectively plan and organize personal and team activities.
