  • Follow specifications to properly prepare, present, and store foods, including salad items, dressings, fruits, and appetizers, and all Garde Manger items.
  • Assist in inspecting the cleanliness of the floor, walk-ins, and kitchen stations.
  • Ensure foods are stored and served at proper temperatures and rotate food in walk-in to minimize waste and spoilage.
  • Taste and monitor presentation of all food served to guests, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Prepare foods in large quantity and consistency leading up to special events and assist during plate-ups.
  • Promote and comply with all policies and procedures of JC Resorts.
  • Immediately report all suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and safety of work areas at all times.

**Requirements:**

  • Able to understand basic English and follow simple verbal directions.
  • Basic knowledge of production and operations in all kitchen areas.
  • Cooking experience of minimum 1 year preferred and professional culinary certification or degree preferred.
  • Familiar with local Department of Health regulations and Covid protocols.
  • Food handlers card required upon hire.
