Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

Traditions of Columbus is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care to patients as assigned, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Administer and record medications and treatments as assigned, maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Reinforce supports and provide health care instructions to patients and their families, promoting healthy habits and disease prevention.
  • Participate with other team members in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care and other patient activities, ensuring seamless coordination and communication.
  • Assist in the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients, maintaining a safe and efficient environment.
  • Observe and report patients' vital signs, symptoms, and general condition to the appropriate individual(s), ensuring timely and effective interventions.
  • Record on patient charts observation of patient's responses to nursing care rendered, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
  • Maintain environmental conditions conducive to the comfort and safety of patients, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
  • Assist with unit management and/or assume charge of unit as assigned, demonstrating leadership and teamwork skills.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • LPN Licensure: 1 year (Preferred)
