About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physician Recruiter to join our team at CommonSpirit Health. As a key member of our Clinical Operations team, you will be responsible for recruiting and hiring physicians and allied health professionals to support our organization's mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent in the medical field.
  • Partner with physicians and executives to identify recruitment needs and develop targeted recruitment plans.
  • Source and identify qualified candidates through a variety of methods, including online advertising, networking, and search firms.
  • Design and implement recruitment initiatives at area residency programs to enhance the recruitment pipeline.
  • Work with the recruitment department and marketing team to develop recruiting collateral, including information on the medical group, hospital profile, and benefits.
  • Phone screen candidates to determine quality and fit for the organization, and present physician opportunities with detail and clarity.
  • Present candidates to leadership in a timely manner with robust and relevant applicant details.
  • Work with the Recruitment Coordinator to coordinate candidate itineraries, including hotel reservations, tours of clinics and hospitals, and appointments with physicians.
  • Attend on-site candidate interviews and partner with Medical Director/Executive Director to develop offers and ensure timely contract issuance.
  • Follow up with candidates to resolve any issues or barriers to closing the offer and securing the candidate.
Requirements
  • Three to five years' experience in physician recruitment or related physician relations activities.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (appropriate experience can be substituted for education).
  • Valid state Driver's License and proof of automobile insurance required.
  • Extensive knowledge of healthcare recruiting and hospital operations, as well as excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously, and to develop alternative solutions to problems.
