Job Summary

The Senior Physician Recruiter is a key member of the Physician Enterprise team, responsible for all activities related to physician and allied health recruiting. This role requires a strategic thinker who can develop effective recruitment strategies and build strong relationships with physicians and executives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with physicians and executives to develop opportunity profiles and recruitment strategies
  • Identify and source targeted physicians using a variety of creative and effective recruitment methods
  • Design recruiting initiatives at area residency programs and develop relationships with targeted residency programs
  • Work with the recruitment department, marketing, and outside recruitment advertising agencies to develop recruiting collateral
  • Phone screen candidates and present them to leadership with robust and relevant applicant details
  • Manage locum tenens hiring with locum tenens agencies and maximize use of the team's Applicant Tracking System
  • Provide regular and as-requested reports to leadership and partner with the California-based recruitment team to ensure a positive and collaborative team structure
Requirements
  • Three to five years' experience in physician recruitment or related physician relations activities
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (appropriate experience can be substituted for education)
  • Valid state Driver's License and proof of automobile insurance required
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Knowledge of healthcare recruiting and hospital operations
