Job Overview and Requirements

As a key member of a multidisciplinary design team, you will collaborate with both analog and digital engineers from diverse backgrounds. Your responsibilities will include programming control and evaluation functions, validating the behavior of circuit blocks, analyzing results, and troubleshooting issues within a research and development testing environment.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Conduct post-silicon validation and debugging of die-to-die interface IP products focused on the UCIe protocol.
  • Develop tools for product testing, data visualization, research, and report generation.
  • Contribute to the creation of advanced software solutions to assess silicon performance on hardware.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of experience, or a Master's Degree with at least 1 year of experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in scripting with Python and a solid understanding of software engineering principles.
  • Experience in the development of intricate software projects.
  • Strong foundation in data structures and algorithms.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with Signals & Systems concepts and Transmission Line Theory.
  • Basic knowledge of test and measurement instruments such as oscilloscopes and signal generators.
The salary range for this position across the U.S. is between $83,000 and $125,000. Additionally, this role may qualify for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses. Synopsys provides a comprehensive health, wellness, and financial benefits package as part of a competitive total rewards offering. Actual compensation will be determined based on various job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.
