Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a PRN (Per Diem) Clinical Dietitian to become an integral part of our nutrition team within an acute care medical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver medical nutrition therapy, including comprehensive nutrition assessments, dietary modifications, and patient education.
- Adhere to the guidelines established in the Company Diet Manual and Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accrediting agencies, while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
- Provide training and mentorship to patient services staff and interns as necessary.
- Engage in patient satisfaction initiatives, departmental meetings, and facility-wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs.
Qualifications:
- Registered Dietitian credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- State licensure as required by the Dietetics Licensing/Credentialing Board.
- Preferred one (1) year of experience in a hospital setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, electronic medical records, diet office systems, and nutrient analysis software.
