Cardiac Anesthesiology Opportunity in Upstate New York

A hospital in upstate New York is seeking a Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join their team.
About the Opportunity:- Flexible Schedule: Monday-Friday - 10, 12, 14, & 24-hour shifts available
- 1 weeknight call shift per week, 5p-7a + 24 hr weekend call shifts
- Cases include heart transplants & insertion of temporary and durable mechanical circulatory support devices
- Volumes: ~1000 cases/year
- EMR: Epic
- Working independently
- Paid travel & lodging
- Must be board certified, fellowship trained in Cardiac and have TEE certification
- Long-term assignment
- COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- National Institutes of Health (NIH)
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
- Active unencumbered New York Anesthesiologist state license
- Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
- One year of work experience as Cardiac Anesthesiologist
- One year of Epic experience
- Board Certified
- Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills
- Participates in relevant continuing education programs
- Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients
- Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise
- A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital
- Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks
