Job Summary

The University of Wisconsin-Madison, a research-intensive institution, seeks an Assistant Public Records Custodian to support public records compliance and ensure a consistent process. Reporting to the Public Records Custodian, you will work closely with requesters, review and release public records, and collaborate with campus partners to mitigate compliance risk.

Responsibilities
  • Compiles and classifies reports in support of a specific compliance program.
  • Assists leadership in regulatory report creation and coordinates notification issuance.
  • Reviews and releases public records in accordance with the law.
Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also provide benefits including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth.
