As a key member of our respiratory care department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading a team of respiratory therapists to deliver high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of respiratory therapists in providing patient care and services
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and department performance
  • Collaborate with management and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and communication
  • Provide training and mentorship to respiratory therapists to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Conduct quality audits and assessments to ensure compliance with accreditation standards and hospital policies
Requirements
  • Graduate of an education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s)
  • Four years of experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner with two years of ICU, Neonatal, and/or ER experience (preferred)
  • Lead/supervisor experience
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the state of Texas
  • Current certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and Adult Critical Care Specialty (RRT-ACCS)
