Senior Operations Quality Engineer

Job Summary:
RTX is seeking a Senior Operations Quality Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and processes. This role will involve working closely with factory teams to support production, first article inspections, and preparation for audits.
Responsibilities:
- Verify product and process compliance with contractual, technical, industry, and internal policies
- Generate and publish Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) metrics
- Facilitate and lead cross-functional teams in failure analysis, Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations
- Ensure identification, physical control, and disposition of non-conforming material
- Support work instruction development and maintenance activities
- Develop and maintain inspection instructions
- Interface with Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA)
- Conduct daily status meetings with factory support, factory management, and internal stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and five (5) years of experience in related Quality, Operations, Engineering, or related discipline
- Experience in supporting design and/or manufacturing process
- Manufacturing process experience in one of the following areas: assembly, inspection, test
- Previous experience working with engineering drawings, work instructions, Bill of Materials (BOMs), consumable materials control, process disciplines, and tool control
- Ability to obtain and maintain an US security clearance prior to the start date
