Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant

It's all about helping people. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing care for our clients throughout the Needham area. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement treatment plans that improve/enhance the patient's well-being. Your responsibilities will include instructing and aiding patients in active and passive exercise, muscle re-education, gait, functional, ADL, transfer, safety, and prosthetic training. You will also observe, record, and report to the supervising PT, the nurse supervisor, and/or the physician the patient's response to treatment and changes in the patient's condition. In addition, you will instruct patient, family, caregiver, and other members of the health care team in the areas of therapy within the scope of the physical therapy assistant. Current licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in MA.
