Job Title: Audiologist Staff Member

We are seeking a highly skilled Audiologist to join our team at Leidos QTC Health Services. As an Audiologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality healthcare services to our clients.

About the Role:

As an Audiologist, you will be responsible for administering and interpreting a variety of tests to determine the type and degree of hearing impairment. You will also evaluate test results in relation to behavioral, social, educational, and medical record reviews of past audiograms and documents. Your expertise will be essential in determining the likely cause of hearing loss and stating the prognosis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and interpret tests to determine hearing impairment
  • Evaluate test results and medical records to determine the cause of hearing loss
  • Provide expert opinions on the severity of hearing problems and their impact on comprehension and speech
  • Operate computerized programs and utilize application software and databases to enter, modify, and access information into/from electronic medical records
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
  • Conduct otoscopic examinations, cerumen management, and calibration checks of audiometric equipment
  • Lead paraprofessional staff training for Audiology specific skills and certifications
  • Complete Veterans Benefits Administration Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQs)
Requirements:
  • Doctorate Degree in Audiology (Au. D) from an accredited college or university
  • 3 years of clinic practice experience
  • Currently licensed Audiologist in state employed and license shall be unrestricted
  • American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and/or American Academy of Audiology (AAA) certification
  • Ability to travel up to 50% to provide audiology examinations for clients in multiple locations throughout the country
