Job Summary

This is a National Guard Title 32 Excepted Service Position. The selected candidate will perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of various combat, tactical, commercial, and special purpose vehicles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, lubrication, and cleaning of vehicles and equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical systems, including engines, transmissions, and fuel injection systems.
  • Utilize common hand and power tools, as well as specialized equipment, to perform repairs and maintenance.
  • Assist in the maintenance of production reports and records.
  • Perform operational inspections to ensure vehicles and equipment are properly serviced.
Requirements
  • Must possess experience or training in mechanical systems and equipment repair.
  • Must have knowledge of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Must be able to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to lift and move heavy equipment and tools.
Working Conditions

The selected candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines and changing priorities. The candidate must be able to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
