Shop Foreman

The Shop Foreman at McDonough Hyundai is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of our service department. This role requires strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of automotive repair and maintenance.

• Manage and supervise a team of service technicians and mechanics.
• Assign and prioritize work orders and ensure timely completion of repairs.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex automotive issues.
• Maintain an organized and efficient workflow within the service department.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the Parts department to ensure availability of necessary parts and equipment.
• Provide technical support and guidance to service technicians as needed.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to the team.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve customer concerns and ensure exceptional customer service.

• Prior experience in a supervisory role within an automotive service department.
• Extensive knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting automotive mechanical and electrical problems.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
