Customer Service Specialist for Debt Collection and Customer Support

This role is responsible for performing high-volume inbound and outbound customer support calls, with a focus on resolving issues related to balances 60 days past due or older. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be highly organized, and have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities- Process and resolve customer inquiries in a timely manner via phone and/or email.
- Reconcile credit memos and pre-payments against open invoices to ensure accurate billing.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve complex customer issues efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions within the ERP system.
- Meet monthly retention/collection goals by effectively communicating with customers and addressing their concerns.
- Generate account statements and send dunning letters as necessary.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A strong background in customer service, preferably in a debt collection or similar field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- High-level organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and develop creative solutions to complex problems.
