Job Summary

Aon is seeking a highly skilled Insurance Program Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Risk Management department, you will be responsible for leading and managing various insurance programs, analyzing exposure data and loss information, and preparing presentations for renewal submissions.

This is a hybrid position requiring in-office presence a portion of each week, located near Morristown, NJ. You will report to the Director - Treasury (Risk Management & Insurance) and be responsible for day-to-day activities related to insurance program management, financial capabilities, and risk assessment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all aspects of various insurance programs, including analysis of exposure data and loss information.
  • Prepare presentations for renewal submissions, assessing the impact of insurance renewal options and presenting recommendations to leadership and Director of Insurance.
  • Check insurance documentation for completeness and accuracy, recommending changes where necessary.
  • Ensure timely payment of premiums and serve as an insurance subject matter authority to assist other internal groups with insurance-related issues.
  • Work with outside contractors and insurance brokers to accomplish Risk Management objectives.
  • Review contracts for appropriate insurance language and coordinate issuance of surety bonds.
  • Design, develop, and implement methods and strategies to continually improve processes, including those outside of Risk Management.
  • Coordinate a physical and virtual policy storage and lead or assist with projects as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or four or more years of work experience plus ARM or CPCU certification.
  • Six or more years of meaningful work experience in a corporate risk management department, commercial insurance brokerage firm, or related position.
  • Exceptional computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office, strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, and proficiency in G-suite.
  • Ability to capture and analyze large quantities of data using various tools.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, as well as strong social interaction skills.
  • Ability to work through issues/problems and complete deliverables.
  • Willingness to travel.
