Fifth Third Bank, N.A. is seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to participate in our 10-week Commercial and Credit Internship Program in Chicago. As a commercial and credit intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional setting, working on real-world projects and developing skills in credit analysis, financial modeling, and underwriting.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess credit risk using financial statement, cash flow, industry, collateral, guarantor, and loan structure analyses
- Update financial covenants as needed
- Run Probability of Default (PD) model with oversight
- Partner with portfolio managers to support daily underwriting and credit monitoring duties
- Create client presentation materials using PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Currently enrolled in a college or university pursuing a Business degree (accounting, economics, finance concentrations preferred)
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based immigration sponsorship now or in the future
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Basic Excel proficiency (data entry, formatting, charts, basic formulas, Vlookup)
