About the Role:

Aerotek is seeking a skilled Pump Mechanic to join our team in a dynamic and challenging environment. As a Pump Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing large industrial equipment, including gas turbines and pumps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance on rotating equipment, including disassembly, cleaning, and inspection.
  • Conduct visual observation and run-out checks on motors.
  • Measure bearing fits, inspect gears, and perform clearance checks.
  • Repair, test, and reassemble equipment as needed.
  • Identify and report any issues or defects in equipment.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience with rotating equipment maintenance.
  • Proficiency in disassembly and assembly.
  • Expertise in DCI (Disassemble, Clean, and Inspect) procedures.
  • Experience with gas turbine maintenance.
  • Millwright skills.
  • Generator or motor mechanic experience.
  • Pipefitting or boiler making with rigging experience.
  • Micrometer experience.

Work Environment:

  • On-site position in a dynamic and fast-paced industrial environment.
  • Shop work with varying start times, including 6 AM, 4 AM, or 5 AM.
  • Mandatory overtime may be required.
