Our mission is to enable our customers to find, acknowledge, and remediate cyber risk through elegant and robust solutions. As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in growing our business by creating and qualifying new sales opportunities for our sales team.
Salary
The base salary for this role is $60,000. You will also receive a monthly commission. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Job Description
As an SDR at UpGuard, you will be responsible for generating new opportunities using outbound tactics, identifying, targeting, and nurturing potential outbound opportunities, qualifying inbound opportunities, understanding the needs of prospects, and communicating them clearly to the sales reps you're working with. You will also be expected to clearly articulate UpGuard's value proposition and products to prospects and positioning it based on their particular problem/need. Additionally, you will take accurate and detailed notes in our CRM and work collaboratively with sales, marketing, and product to utilize the insights you learn from prospects to make process and product improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need 1-2 years of experience in B2B tech sales as an SDR/BDR, high-level proficiency in the English language, both written and spoken, ability to give and receive feedback, high energy, and a willingness to learn. Preferred qualifications include B2B SaaS experience, domain experience in cybersecurity or supply chain information risk, and experience with Hubspot, Outreach.io, or other CRM software.
