We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Phlebotomist in Training to join our team at BioLife Plasma Services. As a Phlebotomist in Training, you will be responsible for performing phlebotomy and medical history duties, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety for our donors and employees.
Key Responsibilities- Phlebotomy
- Perform venipuncture and programming of plasmapheresis machines
- Monitor donors during the donation process and manage donor reactions
- Perform all duties required for the setup, verification, operation, and trouble-shooting of plasmapheresis equipment per SOP
- Medical History
- Take and record donor pulse, blood pressure, and temperature measures
- Perform finger stick, test sample, and record other donor measures
- Enter donor information into the Donor Information System (DIS)
- Customer Service
- Greet donors as they enter and exit the donor floor
- Answer phones within a reasonable timeframe
- Maintain an orderly filing system and purge records as needed
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in a laboratory, hospital, or other regulated environment is a plus
We offer a competitive starting hourly wage of $17.00, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and company match. We also offer paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits.
