Complex Securities Senior Manager Valuations Expert

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage, review, and deliver complex security valuation components of business valuation projects for 409A, financial reporting, audit review support, and management planning purposes.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of analysts to support the Armanino complex security practice.
  • Review and populate, and run financial models, including PWERM, Bi-nominal lattice, Monte Carlo simulation, and Black Scholes models.
  • Independently review and assess derivative, option, warrant, and other agreements to determine how best to value each complex security.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
  • Network with internal and external stakeholders to grow the business.
  • Take ownership of key initiatives and metrics.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, statistics, mathematics, engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 8 years of valuation experience within a business valuation firm or valuation practice of an accounting or consulting firm.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in supervising the work of others.
  • Prior experience with external reviews and interactions with auditors, IRS, etc.
  • Proficiency in Crystal Ball, R, or Python.
  • Strong client communication and report writing skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to develop external relationships and bring new clients into the business.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant professional and/or valuation designation(s), such as ASA, CPA, CFA, CEIV, CVFI, ABV, or CVA.
