Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Architecture Professional to lead our design team and drive business growth. As a Group Manager, Technical Services, you will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and developing a talented group of emerging design professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coach and mentor emerging design professionals to develop their skills and advance their careers.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and improve design capabilities.
  • Collaborate with other Group Managers and Market Managers to assign team members to project assignments and delegate design tasks.
  • Lead multi-discipline projects and assume project manager responsibilities for architecture-only projects.
  • Participate in proposal development, client presentations, and project interviews.

Requirements:

  • Registered as a licensed Architect (Minnesota preferred) with ten or more years of progressive design experience.
  • Extensive portfolio showcasing design talents and experience in various sectors, including education, corporate, commercial, airport, transit, and government.
  • Aspirations or prior experience coaching, mentoring, and developing emerging architectural professionals.
  • High proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Flexibility to travel up to 15% between office locations and regionally to meet with team members, conduct on-site project consultations, and participate in business development activities.

Advantageous Qualifications:

  • Registration in additional states, including WI, IL, CA, or WA.
  • Proficiency with Lumion, In-Design, and/or Sketch-up.
  • LEED Accreditation and familiarity with State of Minnesota B3 Guidelines.
  • Current affiliation or membership with AIA.
