Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Avionics/Electrical Technician I to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing system discrepancies to ensure minimum schedule impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in troubleshooting and repairing system discrepancies to ensure minimum schedule impact.
  • Implement process changes to reduce cost and meet schedule without compromising safety or quality.
  • Perform installation and functional testing of electrical/avionics components and systems per Engineering specifications, drawings and maintenance manuals.
  • Ensure quality and efficiency of all installations.
  • Troubleshoot processes/concepts to provide timely, quality repairs of malfunctioning systems.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Two (2) years related work experience; or two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics.
  • Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams.
  • Must be able to climb stairs and ladders, work in confined areas and lift up to 50 pounds.
