Job Summary

Liberty Senior Living is seeking an experienced Personal Care Assistant to join our team. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide assistance with daily living activities and personal care needs for our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide personal care, including oral hygiene, toileting, and transferring.
  • Assist with mealtime, including serving trays and beverages, and clearing and cleaning tables.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, such as making resident beds and changing linens.
  • Ensure resident safety and well-being by monitoring their condition and reporting any changes to the Supervisor-in-Charge.
  • Follow personal care plans for each resident, familiarize yourself with their individual needs and desires, and work towards maintaining their independence, personal dignity, and personal safety.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have no findings on the State Health Care Personnel Registry of resident abuse, resident neglect, misappropriation of resident or facility property, fraud against a resident or facility, or diversion of drugs belonging to a resident or facility.
  • Must enjoy working with senior adults with special care needs.
  • Must be willing to receive, understand, and follow orders.
  • Must be able to understand English to read, speak, and write.
Working Conditions

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and be able to move quickly and safely in the facility.
