Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at one of our group homes in North Vernon, IN, or Seymour, IN. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing daily support and care to our clients, helping them to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily support and care to clients, including assistance with personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each client.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Assist clients with daily living activities, such as medication management and appointment scheduling.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, promoting a sense of belonging and well-being.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in human services or a related field preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed.
