Job Title:
Resident Assistant (RA)

Good Shepherd Services, Ltd. is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide assistance to older or disabled individuals who require 24-hour oversight, fostering their independence and freedom of choice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including dressing, bathing, and personal hygiene.
• Provide support with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living, such as housekeeping, laundry, and mail delivery.
• Assist with medication administration and monitoring of medication supplies.
• Conduct room checks and resident rounds, observing and reporting changes in residents' physical condition and cognitive and emotional status.
• Participate in and support the resident-centered activity program, including transporting residents for activities and appointments.

Requirements:

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in caregiving or a related field preferred.
