About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at GameStop. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and fostering a positive store culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by Example: Directly influence the performance of all store employees, ensuring they provide exceptional customer service and meet sales targets.
  • Foster a Selling Culture: Develop and implement strategies to create unique, complete solutions that exceed customer expectations, driving sales growth and customer loyalty.
  • Deliver Best-in-Class Guest Service: Ensure that every customer interaction is positive and memorable, using elements of GameStop's buy, sell, trade, and reservation business model to meet customer needs.
  • Drive Store Performance: Analyze sales data, identify trends, and develop action plans to improve store performance, driving sales growth and profitability.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Assistant Store Manager or similar role in a retail environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire store employees.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and develop action plans.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
