Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Employment and Training Specialist to join our team at SER Jobs for Progress National. As a key member of our staff, you will play a critical role in helping individuals achieve their employment goals and overcome barriers to employment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement employment plans that meet the unique needs of each participant
  • Conduct interviews and assessments to identify employment goals and barriers
  • Provide career counseling and guidance to help participants achieve their employment objectives
  • Collaborate with community resources and employers to secure job placements and provide ongoing support
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to track participant progress and program effectiveness
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field
  • Experience working with employment and training programs, preferably in a social services setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn and use automated reporting systems
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
