At KPMG, we're seeking a Senior Associate to join our dynamic Mergers and Acquisitions practice. As a key member of our team, you'll advise clients on a wide range of corporate and partnership tax services, from planning and research to due diligence and tax structuring.

Responsibilities:
  • Advise clients on complex partnership transactions, including buy-side and sell-side acquisitions, dispositions, mergers, and restructurings
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver due diligence and tax structuring services, communicating findings and opportunities to clients
  • Execute on complex partnership transactions, including IPOs, de-SPACs, and take-private transactions in Umbrella Partnership C-Corporation structures
  • Assist with review and remediation of deficiencies in historical partnership allocations, basis adjustments, and capital accounts
  • Advise clients on renewable energy transactions, including tax equity partnerships and tax credit sales
Qualifications:
  • Minimum two years of recent experience in federal tax and/or mergers and acquisitions in a public accounting firm, corporate tax department, or law firm
  • Bachelor's degree, or Master's in taxation (MST) from an accredited college/university
  • Knowledge of a broad range of corporate and partnership tax matters in various industries
  • Ability to handle multiple engagements and client service teams
  • Possess an interest in developing, motivating, and training associate-level team members
  • Excellent modeling, research, and writing skills
